Alh. M. S. Umar, acib, mni
Alhaji Mohammed Sabiu Umar an accomplished insurance practitioner graduated from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (B.A. Hons. History) in 1973 and holds a Masters (Med) Degree in Education from Ohio University, Athens (USA) 1976.He was the first indigenous Chief Executive Officer of what is now Unity Kapital Insurance Company Limited from 1985 to 1989, and was later appointed Executive Director (Finance & Administration), NICON Insurance Corporation from 1989 to 1993. He was subsequently reappointed Executive Director (Special Risks), Nigeria Reinsurance Corporation from 1993 to 1999. Following his retirement from service in 1999, Alh. Umar co–founded the Company with other pioneer members in 2000. He served as the Chairman/CEO up till November 2005, when he assumed the re-designated post of Managing Director/CEO.

Elder Aaron Godwin Ntuen, ACII, MBA
Elder Ntuen obtained Diploma in Insurance from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, in 1978. He also attended the Chartered Insurance Institute of London where he obtained his professional certificate (ACII) in 1994, as well as Enugu State University of Technology where he obtained his MBA in the year 1999. Elder Ntuen has worked in many organizations including Nigeria Reinsurance Corporation where he last served as Assistant General Manager (Oil & Gas) for many years before retiring in 2009. He joined us as General Manager in 2010. His vast wealth of experience in the industry and current position in the company continues to be an invaluable asset for growth and development of the organization, with particular reference to the Special Risks unit of Oil & Gas, under the Technical Department.

Mallam Kalani A. Salisu B.Sc.(HONS) ACCOUNTING, CNA, MBA
Mallam Salisu joined the company in 2005 as Head of Accounts Department. He is a 1991 graduate of Accounting from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and as member; Certified National Accountants (CNA) of Nigeria. He holds an M.B.A from the same University.
He has worked with F. B. Associates and Fortune Ranch & Abattoir Ltd, Mokwa between 1997 and 2004 before joining the company.

Mr Adebowale S. Ogunkoyode, DIP INS, ADVANCED DIP INS & INVESTMENT MGT.
Mr. Ogunkoyode is a graduate of the West African Insurance Institute, Banjul, The Gambia. He also holds the National Diploma in Insurance from University of Lagos. He is a versatile Insurance Practitioner with specialty in Insurance & Reinsurance underwriting & marketing. Prior to joining the company, he has worked with Confidence Insurance Co & Lambard Insurance Company from 1983 to 1987.He later joined Nigeria Reinsurance Corporation from 1987 to 2009 where he had his longest stint in various departments of the organization. In January 2011, Mr. Ogunkoyode was appointed Manager of Reinsurance on joining Songhai Insurance Brokers Ltd.

Mrs Onugu Clara, HND INSURANCE
Clara Onugu holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) Certificate in Insurance from the Institute of Management and Technology, Enugu in 1984.Before joining Songhai Insurance Brokers Ltd., Clara Onugu was a Principal Officer of Nigeria Reinsurance Corporation in Abuja, and also headed the Enugu branch office of the Corporation. She was responsible for both Technical and Administrative works in the Eastern Zonal Office. The Risk Management portfolio was handled by her. She also worked as the Insurance Brokers' Liaison Officer, handling the Corporation's Asset Insurances. Her 24 years of experience exposed her to all arms of Insurance / Reinsurance Business including marketing. She is presently the Manager (Technical) and has brought her wealth of experience to bear on her current job.
EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT (MARKETING)
Mr Idris Abdullahi
Mr Abdullahi is a professionally trained Personal Secretary. He has worked in many organizations which include NICON Insurance Plc and Nigeria Reinsurance Corporation. He has also served as Personal Assistant to the Managing Director for many years in NICON Insurance and later Nigeria Reinsurance before his present appointment.On joining the company in 2009, he was given relevant training in Insurance Marketing and subsequently deployed to the Technical Department as Executive Assistant (Marketing) in order to boost the personnel requirement of the company for the purpose of aggressive marketing.
