Our Board of Directors is our driving force for achieving the aims and objectives of our company. Being in charge of policy formulation and generally determing the strategic direction of the company, it is composed of eminent personalities with diverse backgrounds drawn from both the public and private sectors of the Nigerian economy.
CHAIRMAN Sarki Abdullahi Ibrahim (Makaman Kano), OFR
Our Board is headed by Alh. S. A. Ibrahim (Makaman Kano), the District Head of Wudil and Member, Kano Emirate Council. He is a 1971 Social Science Graduate of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and a 1973 Post-Graduate Diploma holder in Public Administration, from Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife.
He has held senior positions in Bank of the North Ltd and the Presidency, where he served as Director, Cabinet Secretariat and later Principal Secretary to the Head of State, Commander –in-Chief of the Armed Forces up till 1997. He retired from service as Permanent Secretary in the Federal Civil Service in 1999. He joined the Board as a founding Member/Director of the company from inception in 2000 before becoming the Chairman in November 2005.

Mohammed Sabiu Umar an accomplished insurance practitioner graduated from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (B.A. Hons. History) in 1973 and holds a Masters (Med) Degree in Education from Ohio University, Athens (USA) 1976.He was the first indigenous Chief Executive Officer of what is now Unity Kapital Insurance Company Limited from 1985 to 1989, and was later appointed Executive Director (Finance & Administration), NICON Insurance Corporation from 1989 to 1993. He was subsequently reappointed Executive Director (Special Risks), Nigeria Reinsurance Corporation from 1993 to 1999. Following his retirement from service in 1999, M.S Umar co–founded the Company with other pioneer members in 2000. He served as the Chairman/CEO up till November 2005, when he assumed the re-designated post of Managing Director/CEO.

Baba Shehu Shettima is a businessman engaged in road construction and is currently the Executive Chairman/CEO of Arfo Construction Ltd. He is a founding member of the company and has been on the board since its inception. He has been responsible for creating business opportunities for the company in his field of construction management.

A founding member of the company, Lamba Mohammed has a rich and varied background with experience in both the public and private sectors. He is a professional accountant currently holding the position of Director of Operations in the company's sister organisation, Songhai Health Trust Ltd.

Dahiru Ibrahim is a renowned legal practioner and currently a Principal Partner and Chief Executive of his law firm, Adamu Ahmed Ibrahim and Co (Corporate Legal Practitioners and Consultants).They are the Legal Advisors to Songhai Insurance Brokers Ltd.
